G reenwich expeditions began in 1999 as an outdoor shop specialized in supplying professional equipment to the people who practice adventure sports. During its development it began to organize expeditions partly sponsored by the firm Doite International, which includes, among its products, photographs of far away places both in Chile and in other parts of South America. To carry out these expeditions we decided to recondition the legendary 4x4 Land Rovers and Unimogs, which have turned out to be the ideal vehicles for this hard job, and also to have rescue equipment, powerful radios, global positioning systems (GPS) and a complete line of outdoor support. It is at this stage that we decided to include expeditions in our firm as a need to satisfy our clients and to share with people from all over the world the joy of taking part in overlands in Chile and South America, offering a professional and personalized product, in this country with a privileged geography of contrasts unique in the world. Our greatest interest is for you to be able to fulfil your wish of taking part in a real expedition in a classic 4x4 which has helped in discovering many corners of the world such as Chile, where you will get to know, not only the most beautiful places, but also the most remote, due to the difficulty in getting to them. You will also be able to learn about their cultures, their traditions and to understand why our country needs to balance progress without damaging the fragile ecosystem of which it is composed.
